Need to Pass the FE Exam Before Taking the PE Exam?
If you haven’t yet passed the NCEES® Electrical and Computer FE Exam, don’t worry. Many of our students begin their licensing journey with the FE exam before moving on to the PE exam.

When Should I Start Studying for the PE Exam?
If you still need to pass the FE exam, we generally recommend focusing on one exam at a time. Passing the FE exam first provides the foundation you’ll build on while preparing for the PE exam.
