Ohm Gurus
Ohm Gurus is our free continuing education platform for professional engineers. It offers live and on-demand seminars taught by licensed Professional Engineers on practical electrical engineering topics while helping you earn continuing education credit for professional engineering license renewal. New seminars are added twice each month.
Professional Development Hours (PDHs)
Most Ohm Gurus seminars are worth 1 Professional Development Hour (PDH). Depending on your state’s terminology, your certificate may also be referred to as CPC, CEU, CPD, or CE credit.
You can attend seminars live or complete them on-demand at your convenience. Live seminars and on-demand seminars each have their own completion requirements before a certificate is issued.

Continuing Education Certificates
Certificates are automatically emailed after you successfully complete the requirements for a seminar.
- Live seminars: Attend at least 50 minutes of the one hour webinar .
- On-demand seminars: Watch at least 50 minutes of the recording and earn a score of at least 80% on the 5 questions quiz.
If you cannot locate your certificate after completing a seminar, please contact support and we’ll be happy to help.
Free Seminars
All Ohm Gurus seminars are completely free to attend. There are no subscription fees or paid memberships required.
The platform includes both upcoming live webinars and an expanding library of on-demand seminars covering a wide range of electrical engineering topics, including power systems, substations, protection, building systems, utilities, renewable energy, ethics, codes and standards, and more.
